Renovation Project Coordinator

Job briefing

The successful candidate will first and foremost align with our company’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision, be able to deliver absolute customer service, integrity, and adding heart and soul into every project. The Renovation Project Coordinator will run, administer and organize all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Project Manager, aiming at flawless execution of projects before tight deadlines expire.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Make certain that clients’ needs are met as their renovation or home addition evolves
  • Help prepare project proposals, quotes, schedules and budgets
  • Monitor and track progress of each project and communicate proceeding objectives
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants
  • Meet, brief and prepare sub-trades for each project in a timely manner
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination in renovations and/or home additions
  • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving history
  • Must be comfortable driving large trucks and hauling trailers
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Familiarization with whole home renovations, kitchen and bathroom renovations or home addition procedures an asset
  • Familiarization with Macintosh computers an asset
  • Familiarization with Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Facebook and quoting software an asset
  • Must be physically fit with the ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have a flexible schedule and able to deliver a high quality product within deadlines
  • Be familiar with the Calgary and Surrounding area

Administrative Assistant

Job briefing

The successful candidate will first and foremost align with our company’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision, be able to deliver absolute customer service, integrity, and adding heart and soul into every project. Administrative assistant duties and responsibility includes providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The job scope includes communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of quotes and proposals
  • Ensure required products have been ordered, shipped and are ready for installation dates
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Data entry, and payroll

Requirements

  • 1+ years admin or assistant experience required
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Familiarization with renovation or home addition procedures an asset
  • Familiarization with Macintosh computers an asset
